Furniture maker David Hurwitz announces his new website and blog!

Hello and thanks for checking out my new blog!

Just a quick post to announce that my website, www.davidhurwitzoriginals.com featuring my unique, handcrafted woodwork and design has been completely redesigned with updates of new work, a new press section, a show schedule section that will be kept current, detailed info about how to purchase my work, the custom design process, and more.

Special thanks to webmaster John DiGeorge of Good Bear Productions for his vision, guidance and expertise in creating not only the great layout concept of the site and how it all works, but an amazing behind the scenes system that allows me to update photos and text myself very easily. This is a huge step forward for me, as my old site was written in outdated code that couldn't be expanded anymore. The old site served me well for a long run of years, so as with the New Year tradition of recognizing what has passed while ringing in the new, I bid my old website a grateful and fond farewell as it goes on to the website spirit world.

The new site was officially turned on today, and I will announce the official launch soon. This blog is new too, and I will be posting things occasionally, such as works in progress in the shop, and other related stuff.
